A bunyip is a demon native to Australia, residing in the lakes, swamps and rivers of the Outback. Unlike most demons, they only kill humans if their source of food is disturbed, drowning them in revenge. Despite this, they are classified as neutral creatures.[1]
An entry on the bunyip was included in the Halliwell Book of Shadows, after the Return Spell and before the Charm of Multiplicity.[1]
In 2000, Prue, Piper and Phoebe Halliwell vanquished a bunyip using a spell which Phoebe later used to try and vanquish the Demon of Illusion.[2]

- Though the Book of Shadows simply classifies the bunyip as a "creature" and Piper says that it is a neutral species in Nymphs Just Wanna Have Fun, Piper referred to it as a demon in Morality Bites.
