Vivian was a witch who possessed the rare power of deflection. A whitelighter named Natalie was assigned by the Elders to guide and protect her, though she rarely listened. When Natalie got wind that the warlock Eames was coming for Vivian's power, she told her to lay low, but she went out anyway. Unfortunately, Eames came for her in an alley, and he threw a fire ball at her, which she deflected, apparently vanquishing him. However, it was actually a clone that Vivian had killed, and, as soon as she let her guard down, the real Eames appeared and killed her.
