The individual was a Queen and the mother of Snow White. Unfortunately, she died, and her husband, the King, remarried one year after to the Wicked Witch, who was later trapped in her Magic Mirror. It was hinted that the Queen's daughter was killed by her step-mother, the Witch, who said that she was "an easy target" before conjuring the Woodsman from the story of Little Red Riding Hood[1].
